A lot has happened since my last post. First Kirra is now almost 11 months old. I can’t believe she is almost 1!!!!She is so much fun right now. She has a lot of new tricks. She has some new dance moves, she dances anytime she hears music (even during sacrament). She waves bye-bye, she blows kisses and knows how to give high fives. Trevor and I pretty much feel like she is the most awesome 1 year old in the whole world and everything she does is the cutest. She is still not talking. She babbles a lot and says mama and dada. I have been reading a lot more to her so hopefully she picks up some new words soon.
Now Virginia. Trevor said to me that he is not sure if he has just been in Idaho for too long but Virginia seems soooooo beautiful. One of the first days we were here we went for a jog and i felt like I was running in a painting. It was so quiet and you could hear all the birds chirping and all the trees are blooming and green. It was just perfect. We have been enjoying all of the fun toys that my family has like the dirt bike and four wheeler. Kirra has a barbie jeep. It doesn’t drive but she likes to sit in it and pretend it goes. Every day she tries to sneak out the door so she can sit in the barbie jeep. Also I don’t know what the difference is but I feel like we are so busy all the time. There is always someone to talk to or help with homework. Trevor got an AMAZING job that pays a lot better than we were expecting and he is helping out with a soccer team for 5 year olds. He is still applying to schools and I am still holding out for University of Hawaii. I love the fact that we don’t really know what tomorrow is going to bring. It is an exciting time in out life. It will be nice one day when Trevor gets a permanent job and we settle down in a house but right now I am enjoying life a lot and I love that we could end up anywhere. I also love that I am not sitting home alone at my apartment everyday anymore. I love that we have more restaurant choices. I was so sick of applebees and wingers. Yesterday Trev took me on a date to Guru Indian Cuisine. It was sooo delicious and such a needed change. I also love that we have a Costco and Target right down the street. These are little things you take for granted when you live in the middle of no where.
There are things I miss about Idaho. Mostly all my friends. I almost cried at church on Sunday because I missed having our friends save us a seat and being able to let Kirra run around with all the other babies her age during class. I miss having people to hang out with anytime we want. I miss my running partners. I miss play group. It will take us a while to adjust but I do feel like this was a good move for us.
These pictures make me feel like Kirra is such a big girl and it makes me sad.
This is Kirra’s new buddy Cade. He is really good with Kirra and she likes to follow him around.
Trevor is having fun with my little brothers.
This is Emmett. He is the cutest. He calls me best friend and he is quite the character. He is one of the kids on Trevor’s soccer teamKirra loves her uncles
Everyone loves snuggling with Trevor.
Unfortunately it was cold at the beach and we only had one good beach day. Fortunately my skin just soaks up the sun so it doesn’t take long for me to get a tan.
Kirra does NOT like to be told No by anyone. She is very sensitive.
It took her a while but now she loves the water and it is funny to watch her try to balance.
So I won’t be blogging everyday or even every week but I will try to get better about it.
