I Hate Blogging

I decided that I hate blogging. It's just like writing in a journal. If you miss a day...or a few months...you feel like you have to catch up on everything but you can't remember all the details. With that being said, I already made I big deal to a few people that I could handle blogging on a regular basis so I have to continue doing this just to prove my point. For the record though, I'd much rather read everyone else's blog than write my own. Oh and I don't like blog postings with no pictures.
Now that everyone knows my true feelings, I will try to catch up on what has been happening. First off Trevor and I finished up our fall semester of school and it felt so good. I was very ready for a break and excited to have more time for Kirra. We headed straight to California. We always say that we are gonna wait and give ourselves a day to relax after finals but it never happens. We are always too anxious to leave Idaho. We drove through the night. Although it is dangerous, I enjoy it a lot more than driving through the day. I like stopping to get energy drinks so I can talk Trevor's ear off all night. I also like stopping to get the bomb burrito. It is the most nasty, delicious gas station burrito in the world For some reason I would feel guilty eating it any time but 2:00 in the morning.
I was really excited when we got to Trevor's parents house. It was decorated so Christmasy and smelled like delicious cookies. Not too much happened the first few days we were there. I did experience my first batch of cherry walnut bars. They were pretty good. I did go back for seconds...and thirds, and fourths, and fifths..By the time I finished the first half of the pan, I felt like the second half was lonely so I ate all those too. Of the 15 different types of cookies and treats made while we were there, Cherry Walnut bars are my favorite. Trevor made the rounds visiting his brothers and while he was gone, the in-laws and me and Kirra went to check out some really awesome Christmas lights. I love the ones that coordinate to music. Friday we picked up Chad from the airport and had a delicious mexican dinner and then headed to the temple to see the lights and then....TO FENTONS!!! I had a delicious black and tan with no black and lots of tan...I could drink the carmel that they put on the ice cream. Anyway that is part one of the California trip. More to come
Delicious toasted almond ice cream smothered in caramel!

Boys doing the thizzle dance...Bryan looks a little confused

Trevor thought it would be cool to grow out a mustache....its not cool.
We woke up Kirra to see the lights...She just wanted to be snuggled and go back to sleep

Blurry pictures of the lights.

This picture is deceiving. I did have help finishing the giant ice cream

  1. Bravo. You did a blog post. Not that bad, right? Your vaca looked so fun! I looooove fentons! So delicious. And I would not have been surprised if you actually ate that whole pile of ice cream by yourself. I've decided to never underestimate you.
